18 Gradients to expand your copy of Photoshop. I know these work in CS and CS2 but im not sure about any other version as I haven't tested them. So if anyone can try them in PS7 and let me know it would be much appreciated.

These gradients work particularly well as backgrounds for abstract/vector images as seen in my gallery.

I hope you guys find a use for them and if you use can you post me a note with the link to your image.

Also if you download please :+fav: the gradients as it rewards the work I put into them. :D

might be a silly question but how do you load them on to photoshop? Im using version 7 so i'll be able to tell you if they work.

After you download the file:

- Open Windows Explorer
- Find your Photoshop directory (usually: program files/Adobe/Photoshop)
- Open the 'Presets' folder in your Photoshop directory
- Place the downloaded file in the 'Gradients' folder in your presets directory

Load Photoshop

- Find the 'Paint Bucket' tool in your toolbar
- Click and hold the 'Paint Bucket' tool and the 'gradient fill' button appears
- Select 'Gradient Fill' instead of 'Paint Bucket'
- At the top of your Photoshop screen a small gradient preview will appear
- Go into the gradient options near the preview and click on 'Abstract Gradients1' to load them.

Thats sounds alot more complicated than it actually is by the way, only way I can describe how to load them though. Hope that helps.

Glad to be of help to you. I know how you feel as it wasnt long ago that I was learning to create vector art. Ive thought about writing a few tutorials but would like to get a bit more experience myself first. :)

I'm sorry I asked in the first place, I never looked at your site forum's tutorial section, I've taken a look at a few of them ;) I made a new piece, it's my second one now, 90% of the brushes were yours ^^; They're really good. Maybe when I have more experience i'll be able to make my own :P
I call it 'abstractvector', not the most original name I know, but I don't want to give it a really good name for a really shit piece, if you know what I mean, heheh. I'll save it for later. I'll post a link on REALITY DETACHED, if that's ok?
